2. What special services does the International Careers Program offer?
The ICP offers:
a) More courses in English than any other institution of higher learning in the country. A wider variety of courses makes it possible for students to complete their studies without interruption.
b) Quality education delivered by International professors from North America, Europe, Asia with advanced degrees from the best universities in the world: Harvard, Purdue, Tulane, Syracuse, Michigan, Kansai Gaidai, Cambridge, Nanterre, etc
c) Full undergraduate academic programs in English that can be completed at the UEES - no need for students to transfer. Outstanding students are able to complete their studies faster.
d) More degree programs than any other English university program in Ecuador.
More options and greater flexibility: minors and Emphases enable you to explore different fields.
e) A wide variety of international scholarships. ICP students may qualify for scholarships in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan, England, France, Italy,Belgium, and Australia through our international academic agreements. |

Yes, and this feature assures our students that their studies will be fully recognized nationally and internationally. |
4. Are ICP -- International Careers Program credits recognized in the U.S.?
Yes, at more than 3000 colleges and universities. They are also transferable to thousands of institutions of higher learning in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Students have transferred their credits to Harvard, Cornell, Georgetown, University of Miami, Griffith, Lethbridge, among others. ICP students have studied at renowned universities around the world. |
5. What other advantages does the ICP -- International Careers Program offer students?
a) International credit system facilitates student transfers to universities in North America and Europe.
b) Its library offers connectivity to important research data bases in English as found in the best colleges and universities around the world. Access to these important resources from a comfortable, fully equipped 3-story building containing resources in English and in Spanish, 60 computer cubicles, laptops available for check out, study rooms, labs, over 40,000 volumes, wifi, and technical support for students, faculty, and researchers, etc.
c) Several study abroad combinations/options for undergraduates.
d) To strengthen the ability of its students to function as a professional internationally, the International Careers Program offers a system similar to the Erasmus model of Europe.
In this format, students may begin their studies in the International Careers Program, spend a year at a university in country “B” (France, England, Australia.), a third year studying at a university in country “C” (Japan, Belgium, U.S., Spain, Canada), and a final year at UEES. Please inquire about the many other options of this international model.
e) Your own choice: earn a degree in Liberal Arts and design your own program, with one major, one or two emphases, and/or one or two. Creativity and flexibility allow you to tailor your studies to your specific needs and interests.
Competitive advantage: students focusing on several areas of studies, whether major/ emphasis/ minors improve their opportunities for professional success.
f) Combinations of ONE major with one EMPHASIS or more, plus one or more MINORS -- offer future employers a variety competencies and skills.
g) B.A. or B.S. certificates in English and a degree (“Ingeniero” or “Licenciado”) printed in Spanish.

6. Do students of the International Careers Program have the opportunity to participate in other programs of the UEES?
Yes, of course! Some of the benefits are:
