EMPHASIS - Translation & Interpretation (30 credits)
This emphasis prepares students to take on general translation and interpretation professional assignments in the field of their expertise.

The Program develops awareness of the importance of an accurate communication across languages and cultures for community, business, education, marketing, and professional endeavors, in general.

Topics cover a wide array of fields: social sciences, economics and business, technical, commercial, scientific, thus, students work on their language skills, expanding their knowledge and vocabulary base, learn basic translation and interpretation skills to confidently perform specific tasks and or identify the level of expertise necessary for a particular event or project.
